About Us

In the beginning (because everything has a beginning), we realized we no longer had anything in common with the two tech blogs where we had been active visitors for a very long time — even a moderator on one of them. So we left.

Then someone came up with the idea of creating a Discord server where we could talk about whatever we wanted, however we wanted. That server was named Gadgetissimo. Why Gadgetissimo? It was a joke (the server was private anyway) — the name came from the two blogs we had left. A kind of childish rebellion.

Later, someone else had another idea: why not a website, a public blog? Why not go out into the open world? We had so much to say and show — why stay in the cave? And that’s how this blog, Gadgetisimo, was born. Why only one s? “People don’t pay much attention or can’t remember which letter was doubled.”

As for the slogan A different kind of tech blog, that’s our goal — to make it different. Not dozens of irrelevant news posts, most uninteresting even for a small group, which you can find everywhere and that nobody cares about the next day. Not hundreds of ads piled up on top of each other (and if they’re even over the text, great), popping out from every corner and side. Will we manage to make it different? We don’t know, but we’re trying.

The Usual Suspects:

Programming, graphic design and cooking relax me. The fact that I also earn some money from the first two is just a minor detail. I’m skilled in Microsoft Office and LibreOffice (including developing applications for Office), all sorts of IT&C tools that make life easier, web design (Joomla and WordPress, with a bit of CSS, PHP and JavaScript), SEO optimization, and Google Ads campaigns.

I like traveling — to non-Instagrammable places. I use a Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, which doubles as my laptop (together with a 15″ Viewsonic touch display and a Logitech K380 keyboard + Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse). PS: I have a 2007 Dacia Logan. I keep it just to joke about it, to embarrass it.

A technology enthusiast with a degree in computer engineering and extensive professional experience in the IT field. Over my career, I’ve held various challenging roles such as Application Manager, IT Infrastructure Administrator, Application Management Team Leader, Senior Consultant for IT-OT integrated projects, and Cybersecurity Architect & Team Lead. To stay aligned with industry trends and standards, I’ve earned multiple certifications across these areas, allowing me to confidently tackle the complex challenges of the field.

Beyond my career, I’m passionate about technology and modern gadgets. I work with and enjoy devices like the Dell XPS, MacBook Air, and Google Pixel. In my spare time, I indulge in retro gaming and DIY projects.
